AERIAL FIT CLASS INFORMATION
Cirque du Soliel has been a popular show and entertainment art form that has grown in appreciation
over the years.  The strength, flexibility, and endurance required  to perform in the air is breath taking
and inspiring.  Cirque du Soliel uses acrobatics, contortion, aerial fabrics known as silks, lyra hoops,
trapeze, aerial hammocks and much more.  Over the past few years it has been becoming the newest
fitness trend as Aerial Fitness.  Aerial Fitness uses the same principals of circus performing and cirque
du soliel and made them into a fitness routine that anyone of all ages can try.  Aerial fitness uses similar
techniques and conditioning as with pole dance fitness so they are a great complement to each other.
Some find that using aerial hammock, aerial lyra, and trapeze are much easier for them than pole but
with the same benefits as on the pole.

PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT A POLE CLASS. WE USE AERIAL HAMMOCKS ONLY IN THIS CLASS.

You should wear what you are most comfortable with.  Yoga pants or leggings and a T-shirt
are fine.   You can go barefoot or in socks.

Please REMEMBER DO NOT put on any oils or lotion before class.  Your body needs to
be clean so that you can stick to the pole and not slide off.   Please wash your hands before
class with anti-bacteria soap with no moisturizers.  Also,
No jewelry including: rings,
necklaces, bracelets, watches or belts as these items will tear the fabric of the hammocks.

meal right before class.  You should bring a water bottle to class and take small sips as
needed.
